The first Mer Betta Limited Edition mer tail is the Mer Betta Melite-Polaris Periwinkle Halfmoon.  This is a recolor of the Mer Betta Melite Turquoise Halfmoon, as requested by a loyal Mer Betta customer, who wanted a more unique tail.

However, to make it one-of-a-kind would either be a) very expensive for her, or b) a loss of potential income for me as opposed to making it infinitely available.  Therefore, as a compromise, we agreed to making this a very limited edition tail.

This tail is now available for purchase anytime until all ten licenses are sold.

* Each license costs 27,000L (approximately US$100) per avatar.
* No refunds will be given after the tail has been delivered.
* Alts will be considered as separate entities.
* The names of the participants will be listed below.  If anyone not in the list is seen wearing the tail, that person will be reported to LL for copyright infringement.
* None of my other alts will wear this tail in public, except to pose for marketing ads and to display it in fashion shows.  If I am unable to model this tail myself in a fashion show, it will not be part of that show.  Photos of this tail will be made available to the public for marketing purposes, but not the tail itself.

As a licensee, you receive the complete Mer Betta Melite-Polaris Periwinkle Halfmoon v3c mermaid ensemble, which includes the following pieces with Modify/Copy permissions:
* tail and fins
    - a flexi tail with sculpted prim and preloaded with the SkimSurfaceSimple script (L lower leg)
    - 2 leg fins (R lower leg, R upper leg)
    - 2 arm fin (L upper arm, R upper arm)
* classic bottoms with enhanced scales
    - classic socks for the scales
    - classic underpants for the scales
    - sculpted leg smoother (L upper leg; goes between the thighs)
* four styles of tops (undershirts for the breast covering) and two styles of chest fins (aka "boob fins"; chest)
    - classic (covers the breasts completely) with larger boob fins
    - peekaboo (slightly see-thru; very subtle difference from the classic style)
    - pasties (smaller versions of the classic style) with smaller boob fins
    - bare chest (no breast covering; only arm scales)
* SkimSurfaceSimple script that you can add to other tails as long as they're modifiable

When I make add-on products specifically for the "parent" tail (in this case, the Mer Betta Melite Turquoise Halfmoon), I will make the same add-on products for the Limited Edition tail and send them to each licensee at no additional cost.

Go to the Mer Betta main store or any satellite store.  Look for the ad with the picture above and click it to receive a notecard.  Embedded in the notecard is another notecard called "Mer Betta Limited Edition customer agreement: <your name>".  Follow the instructions at the bottom of the notecard.

Upon receipt of the signed customer agreement, I will send you the SLURL to a vendor that will sell only to you.

If you find an avatar wearing this Limited Edition tail and their name is not on the list of licensees above, please follow these steps:

1. Click the Snapshot button at the bottom of your screen.
2. Check "Show interface in snapshot" to show the name tag of the avatar.
3. Select "Save to your inventory (L$10)".  (Do not save to your hard drive and upload it.  Uploaded photos become textures and their integrity can be questioned.)
   
4. Take a picture of the avatar showing the full tail and their name tag.  You can take additional pictures to show details of the tail fins or other fins.
5. Send the photo(s) to Opal Lei and send an IM to say you sent the photo(s).

If the infringement is verified, you will be reimbursed for your photo costs, up to 1,000L per avatar.

If you are the first to report a verified infringement, you will receive 5,000L as reward for helping prosecute copyright infringers.
